The Agrinnovation Fund in ASEAN (AIF) is initiated under the ASEAN-German Cooperation Project, Promotion of Sustainable Agricultural Value Chains in ASEAN (ASEAN AgriTrade) commissioned by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development, to foster market driven innovations in the production, processing, marketing, and market access in agricultural value chains while meeting quality and sustainability standards through public-private partnerships and cooperation. The Fund is currently being implemented in Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, and Viet Nam (CLMV) countries in collaboration with public and private partners, and GIZ.
To promote innovations and public-private cooperation and partnership in the agricultural sector, a series of AIF Knowledge-sharing and Networking Events will be organised during the period from December 2021 to October 2023. They will serve as a platform for AIF partners across the CLMV countries to share experiences and learnings with each other, as well as for external speakers to share relevant knowledge with the partners and participants from the public. In this first event, we invite guest speakers to share their digital solutions that can boost agricultural practices and to give insights as well as lessons learned from the best-practice.

Speakers are :

Visal Kith, Bronx Technology - Chamka is a mobile app for farmers in Cambodia launched by IFAD and the Cambodian Ministry of Agriculture to provide technical assistance to farmers as well to help farmers find markets for their crops

Juliette Alemany, Fairagora Asia - Verifik8 is a web and mobile application used by Fairagora to support collection and analysis of compliance data.

Mr. Peter Jiratranon, QBOXPOINT Co., Ltd. - Farmbook is a platform to boost agriculture 4.0 era for better farm management and application of new technologies.
